FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
DO I NEED SPECIFIC SHOES?
No! Any comfortable clean athletic shoes are totally fine! If you have SPD cleats and would like to wear them, that is also totally fine. Whatever you are most comfortable in.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE TO CLASS?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to class to get settled and situated on your bike.
HOW LONG ARE CLASSES?
All of our classes are 45 minutes long. Some classes will be all bike classes, some will be on/off the bikes. See the class descriptions page for specifics on each class!
WHAT IS THE BEST CLASS FOR ME IF I'VE NEVER BEEN ON A BIKE BEFORE? I'M NERVOUS!
We hear you!!! If you are nervous or intimidated by the idea of cycling, our Intro to Cycling class is the class for you! This class is a 4 week long class that will teach you everything you need to know about how to safely mount, ride and dismount your bike! It will also teach you the different positions and ways you can ride. This class will leave you feeling comfortable and confident and ready to tackle our full schedule of cycling classes!
WHAT IF I'M NERVOUS ABOUT A MEDICAL CONDITION OR INJURY?
If you have a medical diagnosis or injury that you are concerned with, please email Rose at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will consult and make sure that it is safe for you and pass that information along to the coach!

I HAVE NEVER BEEN ON A BIKE BEFORE, WHICH CLASS IS BEST FOR ME TO START?
Welcome! We seasonally offer an Intro to Spin 4-week workshop where the instructor will teach you absolutely everything you need to know about how to safely and effectively ride a cycling bike. Additionally, ALL of our classes will ALWAYS be beginner friendly. You are in complete control of your bike at all times, so if the instructor coaches a move that you are not sure about or you are not comfortable with they will give you all the ways to modify that so you get the best workout and stay safe!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Please wear comfortable athletic clothing! We recommend wearing leggings or shorts, as flare bottom pants can get stuck in the cranks/pedals of the bike. Please wear clean athletic shoes/sneakers.
